Oceanside Health Centre
The Oceanside Health Centre in Parksville is a Multi Use Clinic / Office facility serving the healthcare needs of residents in the Parksville / Qualicum area. The concept is to provide a single location to offer a number of healthcare related services. The first floor of the 2 story wood-frame facility will accommodate the Urgent Care services, Family Practitioners, a Laboratory and Pharmacy, Diagnostic Imaging, meeting rooms and a coffee shop.
The second floor accommodates offices and workstations for those VIHA employees who serve the Oceanside area as well as additional staff areas and meeting spaces. The 37,000 square foot building is designed as a sustainable, environmentally friendly facility to meet the LEED Gold standard, and emphasizes the use of renewable resources such as local timber. This project once again demonstrates the expertise that Lark Group has in Design / Build of healthcare facilities in British Columbia, and our commitment to sustainable development.
