A new 4 tandem bay (8 vehicles) firehall with operational facilities such as gear storage, SCBA, and workshop as well as administrative areas, crew quarters and a small multipurpose room. The building is approximately 1300 m2 (14,000 SF). Other work included the implementation of a septic field, site bioswale, green roof and other sustainable features. The building met the Post Disaster Standards as required by the applicable 2006 BC Building Code.
