The Fraser Valley Heritage Railway Society’s Car Barn project involved restoration of an interurban heritage train/operation car barn in Surrey, British Columbia. The site underwent a complete renovation, including removal of old organics, covering of structural fill and construction of a new barn to standards fit for operating railways. The wood-framed, metal clad building also includes a work shop for antique trains.
