The HOpe Centre is a six-storey acute care psychiatric facility, built on the southeast corner of the Lions Gate Hospital campus. The building provides state-of-the-art mental health care, with the in-patient floor consisting of private and shared living spaces, lounges, an exercise room, and large outdoor spaces that promote social interaction. The building allows for the separation between uses and the different client/patient populations, with resident security, privacy and nurturing ambiance at the forefront of this modern West Coast architectural design.
